Unlock paid features on a canDO+ or a canDO Valve Controller. Nothing ships and nothing is installed: a licence is a signed token tied to one Device ID, and the device fetches it itself once you have activated.

What each licence unlocks
Only the features listed here are licensed. Everything else the hardware does — reading the bus, canSPY, telemetry, the configuration interface, OTA updates — comes with the device and needs no licence.
canDO+ Full Unlock
Associations — sending on the bus: OEM button macros, canSEND and LIN injection, which is what turns a button gesture into drive mode, DSC, chassis, climate or interior lighting changes. Plus Exhaust Valves, canDO+'s control of a canDO Valve Controller.
Valve Controller — Valve Control
Lifts diagnostic mode. Without it the controller reports what your car's ECU is doing but does not drive the exhaust valves; with it, valve positions, zones and automations all work.
Bundle
Both of the above in one order, for less than buying them separately. They land on two different devices, so you activate the same order number twice — once per Device ID. If you already licensed one of them, contact support rather than paying twice.
After you buy
A licence only works on the device you name, which is why activation asks for a Device ID rather than sending you a code to type in. Where you find that ID depends on which device you are unlocking.
Find the Device ID
canDO+: connect to its Wi‑Fi network, open Settings, and read
the Device ID under License.
Valve Controller: open the app, tap Update, and use Activate License
under License — it opens the activation page with the ID already filled in.
Either way it is twelve hex digits, like e4:b3:23:9b:ae:d8.
Activate
On the activation page, enter the order number from your receipt, the email you ordered with, and that Device ID. For a bundle, do this once for each device.
Download it
Press Download under License — in canDO+ Settings, or in the Valve Controller app's Update panel. The device fetches its token and the features unlock immediately: no reflash, and the controller restarts on its own.
Good to know
One device per licence
A token is bound to the Device ID you activate it against and does nothing on any other unit. Re-using one order on a second device of the same kind is refused — buy a second licence for it. A bundle is the exception: it carries one licence for each device.
Re-activating is fine
Factory reset, firmware update, or simply pressing Download again all keep working. The same order and the same Device ID return the same licence, as many times as you need.
